I'm doing good.  I'm being transferred today so that's kind of sad...

Yeah... i was not expecting it. I love the Auburn Ward. but i am being transferred to Enumclaw. Its considered the "sticks" of the mission. And President called me to be a zone leader.

My new companioin's name is Elder Nelson. We served around each other when I was back in Federal Way. He is a stud. He use to be neighbors with the Ostermillers.

I am really sad to leave auburn so early because i absolutely love it here! But ever since getting to Federal Way I have always wanted to serve in Enumclaw so i am excited because its out in the middle of nowhere. Mount Rainier is in that stake, its the "country" and I am claustrophobic in the city haha.  I am going to be in the Buckley 1st Ward.

So to answer your question about a Zone leader, I am over 14 missionaries. Zone leaders work with the stake president and set goals and make plans for missionary work done in the stake. We do a zone training every transfer and "train" the missionaries in the zone. We make up whats called The Mission Leadership Council. Where all the zone leaders come together once a month and discuss the mission and set goals.

Our investigators are doing super good!! we ordained kasey acteson (a recent convert) to the office of a teacher. And misky is being baptized this saturday

and we are working with a 68 year old man trying to get him prepared to receive the melchezedik priesthood

The one with the three of us is Elder Carron my comp on the right of me and Elder Leckington the one on my left and the other one is Elder Clark.

Elder Leckington is in my district. Elder Clark use to be in my district back in Renton. 

Mom I can't tell you how great I am doing and how happy I am. Life is good. I have no complaints. I love you so so much!!

I am doing very good! Auburn is such a great place to be, i love it!! Misky is doing well, she is so ready! We are finding a lot! We have a lesson set up with Kreg tonight. He is super solid investigator. We did service for him about a week ago.

I am doing well, the work is going super well. We just had one of our friends Adrienne accept a baptismal invite, so she is on date for Sept. 15.  

So we wake up at 5:30 play a little pickleball and then workout until 7:00

My favorite conference talk right now is  "until seven times seventy" by Elder Lynn G Robins. And "Revelation for the church, Revelation for our lives" by President Nelson

So w have a guy who was a former investigator, meaning he use to be taking the lessons then for some reason he stopped. But as Elder Carron and I were praying over the list of formers in our phones he stood out to us. So we knocked on his door one evening. He answered with a big smile and said elders, you read my mind. come in. We chatted with him for a few minutes and he asked to come back another day to help him in the yard teach a lesson and have dinner. He is a class A guy too.

Elder Carron is doing great! He is adjusting well, and he gets my dry humor so we get along just fine haha

Everything here is going good! super super good! I am loving the work, the members need to take it easy with the food haha. Our bishop has us over every Saturday morning for breakfast and to coordinate the missionary efforts of the ward. and then without fail they send us home with bags of food. But they always send us home with like fresh fruit and yogurt, they take care of us!

Mom! Good to hear from you. Elder Carron is doing great! He is such a stud. And we get along really well (honestly). The work here in Auburn is going well! The members here are amazing.  Almost too good. They are feeding us like crazy. Haha if it wasnt for them my diet would be amazing haha. And i am sorry, but we failed with the challenge you gave us .... sorry. We have just been to busy with work (; but i am honestly just LOVING life right now. Love love love it. The work is good, the members are great, and i love my companion. Happy happy.

My new companion is an absolute stud!! His name is Elder Carron, he is from Jefferson City, Missouri. 

So far I love Auburn!  So Renton was a big zone geographically and all the missionaries lived far away. Auburn has weird boundaries, like our area boarders every one elses area. And all the missionaries live in 2 different complexes. So it feels more tight knit i guess. And the ward itself is amazing! 

Oh by the way i got transferred again after we emailed last week. SO now I am in the Auburn ward and not the Game Farm ward.

since we are whitewashing our apartment has NOTHING. They cleaned us out. every cabinet was bare. Haha they wasn't even salt and pepper.

We just had on accept a baptismal date last Thursday for august 11. Her name is Misky.  She is 9 years old and probably smarter than I am and has a personality of a 14 yr old haha i love it!

I am seriously doing soooo good. As much as I liked my last area its good to be out of there.  I am so happy and doing so so so well.

I am being transferred...

I am heading to Auburn and I will be white washing the area.  That is were two new elders come into the area, so we both know nothing about the area.  I don't know who my companion is yet that I will be training.  I find out later today.  It will be fun and I am a district leader, so President really swamped me haha.

So we had an investigator come to a missionary devotional (they are essentially firsesides held for investigators and this i what he said after.) this is the following day

It was incredible!!! He is going through a rough time right now, so PLEASE keep him in your prayers.

I am doing well. Fairwood is doing good as well. We found 7 new investigators which is un-heard of for Fairwood. The hardest thing we are facing is getting into a second lesson with  our investigators.

Our ward is having a 4th of July breakfast that we will be going to. And we have been invited to a few BBQ so we have to pick which one we want to go to.  I am doing well, the work is getting better day by day.

Did you hear that President Nelson is coming to Seattle in Sept??  He is just speaking at the mariners field, but our whole mission is going so it should be exciting

Jay moved here from Tennessee. We met him on the sidewalk about 2 months ago and have just recently got back in contact with him. He came to church with us last week and we taught him the 1st discussion. And he accepted a baptismal date of July 28. The spirit was really strong during the lesson and I know he felt it. At the end he told us he believes it all to be true. During those 2 months of not much contact he had been reading the Book of Mormon the whole time. But he will still have some challenges getting to his baptism date. So please pray for him.
